At Sumae, we take care to ensure that every piece of jewellery is checked and packed properly before dispatch. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a damaged product, we provide a return option subject to the terms below.

1. Eligibility for Return

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery only if the product received is in a damaged condition.

Products that are not damaged are not eligible for return or exchange unless otherwise agreed by Sumae.

2. Damaged Product

If you receive a damaged product, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.

To help us assess the issue, you may be required to provide:

  • Your order details
  • Photographs or videos clearly showing the damage
  • Photographs of the product packaging, where relevant
  • Any other information reasonably requested by our team

The return request will be reviewed by Sumae before the return is approved.

3. Return Approval

A return is not considered approved until it has been confirmed by Sumae.

If the damage is verified and the return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product.

Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

4. Refund / Store Credit

For an approved return due to a damaged product, the refund will be provided as store credit.

No cash refund will be provided unless required under applicable law.

The store credit may be used towards a future purchase from Sumae, subject to the applicable terms.

5. Non-Returnable Products

Products that are received in good condition cannot be returned merely due to:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference
  • Colour or style preference
  • Incorrect choice of product
  • Product no longer being required

6. Product Condition

Any product returned for an approved damage claim should be returned in the condition required by Sumae, along with its original packaging and accessories, where applicable.

Returns may be rejected if the product has been used, altered, damaged after delivery, or returned without the required components.
